What is Infertility?

Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after 12 months of regular, unprotected intercourse; couples that are unable to conceive their first child are suffering from primary infertility, while couples who have problems to conceive for 5 years after having a child, suffer from secondary infertility.

In every monthly cycle, there is a 25% chance for a pregnancy, thus Doctors advice couples to wait for a year before seeking a medical treatment.
